Director
Mr. Braimah David Yakubu provides strategic direction and leadership to Dbriel Oil and Gas. His vision and commitment drive the company’s growth and innovation in the Nigerian oil and gas sector.
Engr. Abel Victor Audu – MNSE, R.Engr. (COREN)
Head of Engineering / Principal Consultant
Engr. Abel Audu holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rivers State University. With over 25 years of experience, he has worked extensively in offshore and onshore oil and gas operations. His specialties include engineering design, procurement, logistics, pipeline fabrication, plant commissioning, and project management. In 2019, he served as a consultant for the Nigerian LNG Train 7 Project. He is a strong leader and team player who excels at solving complex technical challenges and optimizing resources.
Engr. Benjamin Onoghose Oguge – MNSE, COREN
Head of Civil Engineering
Engr. Benjamin Oguge is a Civil Engineering graduate of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri. He specializes in structural engineering and detailing, using tools such as AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, PROKON, and RCC design software. Known for his analytical skills and ability to deliver under pressure, he brings valuable problem-solving and technical expertise to every project.
Engr. Obinna Factual Opena – MNSE, COREN
Head of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)
With a degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from Ambrose Alli University, Engr. Obinna Opena has over 10 years of HSE experience in the oil and gas industry. He combines engineering knowledge with strong IT skills to promote a culture of safety and compliance. He thrives under pressure, motivates his team, and ensures that HSE standards are upheld across all operations.
Engr. DiboYesuku Blessing Howard – NSE
Head of Quality Control
Engr. Blessing DiboYesuku holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from Rivers State University. With over 25 years of experience in oil and gas construction and more than a decade in quality control, he oversees project execution with precision. He has led mechanical piping and pipeline projects, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery through effective team coordination and client engagement.
Engr. Chimezie Henry Achaka
Head of Corrosion Control
Engr. Chimezie Achaka graduated from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, with a degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering. He is a Level 3 Certified Coating Inspector, an AWS-Certified Welding Inspector, and a registered engineer with over 10 years of field experience. His background includes welding inspections, quality audits, coatings, pipeline reticulation, and offshore facility upgrades. He is passionate about adding value and driving performance in every role he takes on.
Engr. Oladejo Adetunji Lukman
Head of Electrical and Instrumentation
Engr. Oladejo Lukman, a graduate of Rivers State University, is an APAVE-certified electrical and instrumentation engineer. He has supervised installation and commissioning for major oil and gas projects, including work for TOTAL, Chevron, and Afam VI Power Project. His expertise spans HV/LV systems, motor control centers, and electrical hook-ups. He is a hands-on leader with a proven record of success in complex engineering environments.
Dr. Bar. Angodi Barbar – PhD
Head of Legal Services / Company Secretary
Dr. Angodi Barbar is a seasoned legal expert with degrees including LLB, BL, PGD in Petroleum and Environmental Law, LLM, and a PhD in Oil and Gas Law. With over 20 years of experience, he specializes in legal advisory, compliance, and conflict resolution. He is known for his integrity, professionalism, and strong communication skills. He provides strategic legal support to ensure that all company operations meet regulatory and ethical standards.
